Damage Deposit Policy

To help protect our homes and provide peace of mind to both guests and property owners, a refundable $1,000 CAD damage deposit is required for all direct bookings.

The damage deposit will be fully refunded within 3–7 days after check-out, provided:

•⁠ ⁠No damage has occurred to the property or its contents.


•⁠ ⁠No items are missing.
•⁠ ⁠The home is left in reasonable condition.
•⁠ ⁠There are no excessive cleaning charges.
•⁠ ⁠All house rules have been followed.

If damage, excessive cleaning, missing items, or house rule violations are identified, the cost of repair, replacement, or additional services may be deducted from the damage deposit. If the total cost exceeds the deposit amount, guests remain responsible for the remaining balance.

 

We understand that accidents can happen. We simply ask that you notify us promptly if something is damaged during your stay so we can work together toward a fair resolution.

 

Our goal is never to charge guests unnecessarily. We simply want to ensure every Maple Stay remains in excellent condition for future guests and the homeowners who have entrusted us with their property.
